A Day at Moonrocks

Yesterday, we spent the day at Moonrocks, which is located North of Reno. Because there was rain and moisture the day before, I decided to head out early in my truck to drag the track with a drag that some other awesome locals have out there. I started dragging the track around 8:00 a.m. and kept going until around 10:00 a.m. I was able to listen to a good podcast and music while I slowly went around the track again and again. The sand was perfect for dragging and riding as it was very moist but not muddy at all.

Keyonna and the kids got there around 9:15 and the kids started working on the track with shovels to try and do a little more prep before they started riding. A little later another rider showed up and so we tried to hurry up and finish with the prep so they could ride and thankfully he was really chill and patient.

Then the riding began! It was a great day. Liesel, Summer, Anna, Scottorn and I all had a blast all day. Deegan and his Dad, Kyle, showed up too so that was fun to ride with Deegan until his bike blew up (unfortunately!). We rode until about 2:30 in the afternoon.

We also went up into the hills to hit a jump we found a couple of weeks ago and little Liesel mustered up the courage to hit it for the first time yesterday. Here are some of the shots we took from the ride yesterday and of course above is a video edit we made:
